OpenEAC Alliance October Update

Thank you, everyone, for coming and contributing to the discussion in September! It was great introducing folks from different parts of the industry and facilitating some great conversations around Lighting M&V Methods.

Meeting Recording!

New Methods

Don't forget to get involved! Three methods are ready for the Alliance's eyes. We have a building energy modeling method for new construction and existing buildings submitted by the AUROS Group and the method from C3 that we reviewed in our last meeting on Lighting Retrofits using pre and post-measurements.

Next Meeting

We are currently planning the date for our next meeting; we are looking at late November. In the meantime, the Steering Committee is diligently working to finalize deliverables from the three work streams. These are:

• Principles and Purpose - How the Alliance aims to meet a key need in the decarbonization space.

• Method Certification Versioning - Our Phase 1 certification process

• Method Content - New file repository and several iterations on the Self-Consumed Solar Method from PeerCo.
